Frequently asked questions
Is whitening safe for enamel?
Professionally supervised whitening at appropriate concentrations does not damage enamel. Over-the-counter overuse and abrasive products are the greater risk.
Why are my teeth sensitive afterward?
Peroxide temporarily increases fluid movement in the dentin tubules. Sensitivity is short-lived and can be reduced with desensitizing toothpaste and adjusted wear times.
How long do results last?
Typically a year or more with modest maintenance, depending on diet and habits.
