Dental Implants
A replacement tooth that starts at the root
Implants restore chewing strength and preserve the bone that supports your face. Planned with three-dimensional imaging, placed with precision, restored to match your smile.
Why the root matters
When a tooth is lost, the bone that once supported it begins to resorb. Bridges and dentures replace what you see; an implant also replaces the stimulation the root used to provide, which is why it protects long-term facial structure.
The treatment sequence
Implant treatment is deliberate, and each stage has a purpose.
- 3D imaging to assess bone volume and vital structures
- Guided placement of the titanium implant post
- Three to six months of integration with bone
- Abutment connection and final custom crown
- Ongoing maintenance at your regular hygiene visits
Single teeth, multiple teeth and full arches
One implant restores one tooth without altering the neighbors. Two implants can support a bridge across a longer gap. A small number of strategically placed implants can stabilize a full denture so it no longer shifts while eating or speaking.
Caring for an implant
Implants cannot decay, but the gum and bone around them can become inflamed. Daily cleaning between teeth and consistent recall visits are what keep an implant working for decades.
Frequently asked questions
Is implant placement painful?
Placement is done under local anesthesia and most patients report less discomfort than they expected — typically a few days of mild soreness managed with over-the-counter medication.
What if I don't have enough bone?
Bone grafting or a sinus lift can rebuild the site. Your 3D scan tells us whether this is needed before treatment begins.
How long do implants last?
With good hygiene and regular professional care, implants are designed as a long-term solution. The crown on top may need replacement sooner than the implant itself.
