How aligner treatment works
A digital scan of your teeth becomes a three-dimensional treatment plan. Each aligner in the series applies gentle pressure to move specific teeth a fraction of a millimeter, and you advance to the next tray roughly every one to two weeks.

What is expected of you
Aligners work about 20 to 22 hours a day. Wearing them less is the most common reason treatment runs longer than planned. Trays come out for meals and brushing and go straight back in.

Teeth continue to shift throughout life. A retainer worn as directed after treatment is what preserves the result you invested in.

How long does Invisalign take?
Most cases run six to eighteen months depending on complexity and how consistently the aligners are worn.
Will it affect my speech?
Some patients notice a slight lisp for the first few days as the tongue adapts. It resolves quickly for nearly everyone.
Can I whiten during treatment?
Whitening is usually scheduled toward the end of alignment so the final shade is even across newly repositioned teeth.
