Family Dentistry

One dental home for every age in your family

From a toddler's first visit to a grandparent's restorative care, Royal Dental keeps your household's dental history in one place — and your appointments in one trip.

Care that adapts as your family grows

Family dentistry is general dentistry practiced with an awareness that the person in the chair changes every few years. A six-year-old needs sealants and confidence. A teenager needs a sports guard and honest coaching about sugar. An adult needs restorations that hold up for decades.

Dr. Marianna Zadov and our team plan around those stages rather than treating every visit as a standalone appointment.

What we provide

Most of what your family needs happens under one roof.

  • Comprehensive exams and digital X-rays
  • Professional cleanings and periodontal maintenance
  • Sealants and fluoride for cavity-prone teeth
  • Tooth-colored fillings and same-visit repairs
  • Custom sports mouthguards and nightguards
  • Referral coordination when a specialist is the right call

A calmer first visit for children

We introduce children to the room, the chair and the instruments before anything happens. Visits are paced, explained in plain language and kept positive, because early experiences shape a lifetime of dental habits.

Scheduling built around real life

Back-to-back family appointments, early morning slots and shared reminders mean preventive care actually happens instead of getting postponed. See our preventive dentistry page for what a recall visit includes.

Frequently asked questions

How often should my family come in?

Most patients do well with a cleaning and exam every six months. Higher-risk patients — including those with gum disease, orthodontic appliances or certain medical conditions — may be scheduled every three to four months.

At what age should a child first see a dentist?

Around the first birthday, or within six months of the first tooth appearing. Early visits are short, gentle and largely focused on coaching parents.

Can we all be seen on the same day?

Yes. Let our team know when you call and we will group your family's appointments together.
